Anyone here got plecos?
I love these guys. They come in some of the most interesting varieties, I think.
I've got a 5\" common pleco and a tiny inspector pleco. I had a gold nugget briefly (not quite overnight) which has made me a little gun-shy about keeping plecos but I don't think I can resist them for too long.
In the meantime, I am reading aobut them and asking about them. So please share!
Thanks
Rhonda
Unless you have huge tanks try to avoid the commons as they do need a rather large tank.
That aside, I too have a few on the Inspectors L201 recently described as Hypancistrus contradens.

Also keep several Ancistrus of different types. Some of the better ones bought from fellow club members such as my red marbles.
Not having huge tanks I try and stay to the smaller end of the sucker mouth cats.
:D Hi Rhonda I have and love Plecos. I have a L260 Queen Arabesque, 2 L066 King Tigers, L191 Royal, L027 Royal, Rubbernose, 1 6\" Albino,
10 baby Albino bristlenose babies, 2 14\" Commons , 2 8\" Commons.
Still looking for more LOL!!!!!!!!
I did also have a Gold Nugget in the beginning of my Pleco Love. I'll wait until I grow more knowledgable of them before I get another one. Its heart breaking when you lose one.
